Most of my meals are being provided so I can eat everything, save lunch, here. Most of my days have been spent running all day to museums, at museums and then back to St. John's. In many cases I'm eating light and on the run. I do stop and grab something on a street corner cafe, but nothing too crazy. I thought I'd share today's lunch which was wonderful.
I stopped in the Cafe de Musee before heading over to Invalides. I grabbed a Stella Artois and then decided to stay and order lunch. I asked the waiter what he recommended and he suggested the Quiche Lorraine with a salad. Not sure if there is a specific set of ingredients for this, but mine had baby zucchini, onions, ham and gruyere cheese. It was amazing. The salad was primarly greens with tomatoes and a light dressing.
Then the daily ritual of my second Florio double espresso!
