Sennelier Visit

I was so excited to head back to Sennelier and peruse the store.  There's such a wonderful history about the store that I enjoy and it feels somewhat obligatory stopping in.  This time I needed to purchase both medium and solvent for painting.  Of course, I have to purchase some small gifts for a person I collaborate with too. :)

NPR did a wonderful story on the store several years ago, which I've listened to over and over again during this past spring, anticipating the trip.  You can check it out here if you like:

Sennelier on All Things Considered

The night I arrived I couldn't help, but take a stroll to the river and 'tailgate' for supplies under the wonderful gold-leafed sign.

Popping in this morning though I was struck by the selection of papers, paints, mediums and pigments.

After scoring some medium and turp, we headed over to the Tulieries to start another painting.
